After more than fifteen years of taking us on the Taste of Italy tour of the twenty regions of Italy, Sandra has decided to change things up a bit and concentrate on dishes that are traditionally served for a specific course when dining in Italy. She will also talk about the region each dish is from, giving you some insight into how food differs in different regions.
Menu: Regionali Pasta e Piselli alla Napoletana ~ a fresh mint, pea, and pancetta broth cooked with ditali pasta ● Penne con Crema di Salmone ~ a penne pasta with butter, cream, wine, leek sauce ● Fregola Istuvada ~ traditional baked ancient wheat ball pasta dish from Oristano in Sardegna cooked in a thick ground beef sauce with pecorino cheese and butter.
*Two glasses of wine are included in the price of each seat. No BYOB.
