Welcome Bhavana back to the Cottage and get an understanding of authentic dishes of Maharashtrian, an Indian state located in the western region of the country.
Menu: Kothimbir Vadi ~ crispy, spiced cilantro, and chickpea flour cakes, steamed and then shallow-fried to perfection, served with green chutney ● Kolhapuri Chicken Rassa ~ a fiery and flavorful chicken curry from Kolhapur, made with roasted spices, coconut, and red chilies, served with rice ● Bharli Vangi ~ stuffed baby eggplants cooked in a rich peanut, coconut, and spice-infused masala, served with rice ● Badam Halwa with Ice Cream ~ a rich and aromatic almond halwa, slow-cooked with ghee, saffron, and cardamom, served warm alongside a scoop of creamy vanilla ice cream for a delightful contrast.
